Girl group 2NE1 has attracted attention from K-POP fans from around the world.

2NE1 were awarded with K-POP Best Female Group at the “allkpop awards 2011” which is hosted by “allkpop”, media specialists on Korean news for English readers. This vote was done by about 300 million music fans from around the world participating in an online poll.

2NE1 who got the title of “Best Female Group” expressed their thoughts through a video uploaded onto the allkpop site saying “Thankyou all our loving fans and allkpop for 2011 Best Female Group and we wish you a very happy 2012”.

Engaged in breakthrough activities around the world, 2NE1 did not stop their force even in Japan. Announced by iTunes Japan on the 25th, at a special event called “Japan Sound of 2012” that was to introduce the most anticipated new artists of 2012 , 2NE1 was the only Korean artist to be mentioned.

2NE1 had their official debut in Japan in September of last year where they had a concert tour in 3 cities of Japan (Yokohama, Kobe, Chiba). They gathered a total of 70000 attendees which recorded the highest number of attendees by a Korean artist for a Japan debut live concert.

With such interest from Japan, 2NE1 plan to attack the islands of Japan in February once more with new promotions.

BigBang and 2NE1 have been invited to perform at the annual Springroove Musical Festival. The lineup includes LMFAO, David Guetta, Pixie Lott, Afrojack, Bobby Burns, and many more. Springroove is known to be one of the biggest R&B and HipHop music festival in Japan.

This event will be held in Osaka at Kobe World Memorial Hall on March 31st (Sat) and in Chiba at the Makuhari Messe Hall on April 1st (Sun).

DAY ONE!

[GETTING THERE]
Biggest annoying trek of my life XD I had 3 guys with me and we had to travel about an hour to get to the venue. Saturday was raining like crazy and we didn’t have umbrellas so we looked like complete idiots. Once we got to Saitama, I had to meet a J-Blackjack to get tickets off her and trust me, that wasn’t easy. Find ONE Japanese girl amongst a sea of Japanese girls. Not exactly an easy task but I DID tell her to look for 3 guys and 1 girl… considering the circumstances (ie: 98% female population), we stood out quite a bit LOL We eventually found her (well, she found us lol) and got the tickets and then finally made our way to the arena. It was HUGE. And SO MANY PEOPLE.

We got there early, probably at about 2pm so that we could buy merchandise but there were already things that were sold out. Like the UGLY masks! And YG Family lightsticks! And SE7EN lighsticks! And PSY everything! And the Tablo pen!

But still, we spent about 70000yen on goods LOL and got like 7 free tattoo things due to our excessive spending xD

Oh and I tried the corn soup that collaborated with 2NE1 and got the free keychain~ It was so worth it xD The soup was so good in the cold weather and the corn keychain was so damn cute LOL I didn’t get a chance to get the BIGBANG and SE7EN keychains but I still think the corn keychain was the best xD

[WAITING FOR CONCERT TO START]
After standing around until 4pm, the doors were opened so we pretty much ran inside to get dry and stay warm. The venue was so mindblowingly huge, I was kind of worried on how much I was able to see. I was on level 3 which is like a weird section that juts out from the 4th level. Here’s a pic to clearly explain xD

To be honest, we were all tired and sleepy and weren’t really in the best state before the concert. I felt like I was sick and dying and we honestly didn’t sleep much the night before. The weather didn’t help either and we had to wait about 2 hours until the concert actually started. But the YG Family MVs and advertisements kept me awake. There was a constant rotation of PSY’s “Entertainer”, GDTOP’s “OH YEAH” JP Vers, 2NE1’s “UGLY”, Gummy’s “I’m Sorry”, SE7EN’s “Somebody Else”, BIGBANG’s “Tonight” and Tablo’s “Tomorrow” with advertisements for GDTOP, SE7EN and BIGBANG’s upcoming album in March. There were also ads for 2NE1 and BB’s official fanclub.

[THE CONCERT]
ANYWAY, at 6pm the concert finally started! During 2NE1’s UGLY MV, the music suddenly blasted SO LOUD and we all went absolutely nuts! We knew the concert was justtttt about to start since the sound system suddenly got 981239128x better LOL Everyone was singing along like I THINK I’M UGLYYYYY AND NOBODY WANTS TO LOVE MEEEEE! It was great to see everyone singing along, blackjack or not. The lights dimmed and the creepy YG Family voice started saying something like “YG Family Concert! Are you ready?” and we all screamed some more x)

The doors began to open slowly and I saw all the Blackjacks literally leap up from their seats and start screaming. Me included xD It was 2NE1 with FIRE! AND OH MY GAH THE ENERGY WAS AMAZING! Who cares which artist you supported, JUST GET UP AND JUMP DAMMIT. And that’s pretty much what it was like. The entire arena lit up with multi coloured lightsticks, everyone was screaming, 2NE1 were performing flawlessly and the energy never died down.

From FIRE, it went straight to the remix version of Can’t Nobody that they had at Nolza. I LOVEEEEED IT. It was mad awesome to hear live and as usual, 2NE1’s performances are amazing. They moved from the stage behind down the aisle to the front of the stage. It was sooooooo awesome to see them all dancing and smiling and hi5-ing fans! Can’t Nobody, omg, Chaerin, I died. I knew she was an amazing performer, I had seen it on DVD/downloaded videos many times before but during her second rap verse of Can’t Nobody, holy hell, DAYUMMM CHAERIN xD I was so shocked, I just stood there watching the screen, I didn’t even jump or wave my lighstick, too awed by the aura of CL lolol

After Can’t Nobody, it was their MC. It was really cute and the crowd always shouted “cute!!!” after they spoke. The talk was led by CL as usual and she just dominated with her Japanese skills. Dara was her usual cute self and Minji was breaking in with all the aegyo. And Bom was just so lost it was cute xD 2NE1 ended their portion with Go Away Japanese version which got the crowd pretty pumped up. I remember hearing people gasp when CL said “sh!t” haha xD The lyrics were also shown on the back screens so I could hear lots of people singing along with 2NE1~

Next up was BIGBANG! OMG DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SPAZZED HERE?! I just went absolutely crazy! Once I heard that remix opening of Tonight and saw 5 figures coming down from a platform, I screamed. And the girls all around me screamed. We all screamed. It was insane. Once GD started, everyone screamed. Whenever Daesung sung, everyone screamed. Whenever TOP’s face was shown on the screen, I screamed. It was amazing~ And GD smashing guitar was just so kajsndaksjdnaskjd dayumm boy

They went to Hands Up which got the crowd literally putting their hands up for the entire song xD Cos whenever our hands lowered, it got to the chorus and they were like PUT YOUR HANDS UP HIGH so we automatically raised our hands again XD Either way, it was really fun and after this, they had their MC. GD and Daesung apologised for making fans worry and BB said they’re finally back as 5 and will be having a comeback soon so fans should definitely await what they have planned for us!

The next song was Koe wo Kikasete and then Gara Gara Go! Since they were both original Japanese songs, EVERYONE sung along~ It was so amazing to hear the crowd singing along. Especially for Koe wo Kikasete because they had lyrics in the back screens so everyone could read and sing along. So amazing to hear and the boys are flawless when singing and rapping live in songs. Seriously though, B, I, G TO BANG!

Next was GUMMY~~ She started with I’m Sorry and everyone loved it. I could tell everyone was waiting for TOP to come out though and as expected, when he came out, the crowd (me included) screamed so much. It was really short but who cares, it was TOP! He only did his first rap and the second part was just recorded. Gummy did really well, flawless singing as per usual.

Her talk was really cute! Since she has one of the best Japanese in YG Family, she could easily communicate with the audience. I remember her saying that the song was her title track from her mini album and that TOP participated in it. She asked the audience “isn’t he cool?” and of course the audience all yelled “yesssssssss!” and she asked “aren’t I cooler?” LOL everyone still said “yessssss!” but then she asked “am I pretty?” and the audience screamed louder making her very very happy xD She introduces the next song, Love Is A Lie, and again completely owns the performance

Next up was SE7EN with Better Together! I didn’t even know there was a Japanese version of Better Together but yeah, he sang the Japanese version. After Better Together, it was Digital Bounce. When I heard the beginning, my mind was already saying TOPTOPTOPTOP but what surprised me was that SE7EN rapped TOP’s part! It was cool~ I was kind of like “ngawwww my Tabi not here TT” but SE7EN still hawt so I didn’t mind at all xD

SE7EN, like Gummy, has very good Japanese so he was able to communicate smoothly~ He was talking about the 15th anniversary more than anything and ended with his trademark “now everybody say 1, 2, 3 and 4, 5, 6, 7!” The audience complied and started that and Passion started! Halfway through the song JINUSEAN come out rapping like the amazing seniors they are! So SE7EN and Jinusean were just bringing out the epic swag of YG Family as they rapped together for Passion. It was really different and I wish I recorded it because it was pretty epic ;-;

After Passion, all 3 of them stayed for a talk. Jinu spoke in English thanking everyone for coming and supporting the YG Family. Sean’s Japanese is so amazing, I didn’t even know he spoke Japanese but whoa! So good! Like, really fluent. He was saying “this concert allows audience and artists to become one” and everyone was screaming in agreement~ It was so heartwarming to see Sean talking about the YG Family and how Jinusean were the first unit created under YG and now BIGBANG and 2NE1 have debuted. They ended their talk by saying how everyone should know this song since it’s a very big song that YG had back in the days. HIPHOP GENTLEMEN! BABY GD!!!!! The back screens had videos of the Hiphop Gentlmen MV with BABY GD!!!! Anyway, when it got to GD’s rap part, GD popped out with his cute checkered red suit and rapped! Crowd went crazy with the screaming and omg GD was soooooooooo cute! He was seriously shaking his butt like a cheeky little kid. GD, SE7EN and JINUSEAN on one stage~ What more do you want?? Anyway, the stage ended with GD and SE7EN leaving the stage.

Jinusean went on to sing A-YO by themselves and really got the crowd involved in yelling “A-YO!” and everyone pretty much sang along to the “one for the money and two for the show”! And they had this little part where they were like “when I say Y, you say G!” and that got the crowd really hyped up. Everyone was literally screaming G!!!!!!!!!!! The next song was Tell Me and Dara made her appearance. The background turned so pink, I was so blinded by the pink hearts in the back screens lol. Dara was doing her cute acting thing with Jinusean beside her and the stage ended with all 3 of them going offstage.

Next up was TABLLOOOOOOOOOO! With Bad!! I already knew Bom was there so her appearance wasn’t a surprise but people still sounded surprised once Bom’s face was shown on screen. She was so prettyyyyyyyyy! And sang so well! Although she didn’t sound 100% (well, we just learnt she was sick but yeah, at the time I didn’t know). She still performed amazingly and the crowd loved it.

Tablo had a little talk afterwards which was absolutely adorable because he was reading Japanese off a monitor on stage I think. It was really cute!!! He was saying “I’m the newest artist of YG that’s in charge of sad songs.” LOL everyone laughed and yelled after he said that. And he also said “although I’m only a guest today, I hope you all enjoy my performances” and everyone cheered in support. TABLO, YOU SO CUTE

Gummy appeared with him for Airbag and gave a wonderful performance as usual. You can tell during their stage that they were close friends. Tablo seemed most comfortable with Gummy and they both were happy performing with each other~ Tomorrow started straight after and crowd again went crazy because we all knew Taeyang was going to perform! They had a YG-esque bro hug in the middle of the show making everyone scream again xD

THEN the collabs started! Firstly with Daesung and SE7EN singing the Japanese version of IT HURTS! Again, whenever Dae’s face was shown on screen, everyone screamed! Their performance was vocally beautiful and everyone sang along since lyrics were on the background~ It went straight onto Lonely with Seungri and Taeyang coming out to perform with Dae and SE7EN~ The end had this nice harmonising part that made the audience squeal again~

THEN IT WAS GDTOP!!! Omgomgomg crowd went insane. At this point of the concert, it was the most craziest I saw the audience. OH YEAH started and people popped out of their seats like springs! It was like BOOM EVERYONE’S UP AND JUMPING. Omg and throughout the entire thing everyone was screaming and squealing like there was no tomorrow. Then Bommie came out and my gah, the audience xD So after her part, GD brings her to the side and they were so cute together, so cute xD and then he walks her down during his rap and people screamed. BUT! Then it was that BomxTOP moment and omgahhhh the girl next to me screamed so damn much when TOP stared down Bom, my ears died. Seriously though, the entire song, people were so hyped up and literally jumping with the music~

Then there was a talk with GDTOP where they were like “say yeaaaaaaaaah! Say yeahhhhhhhhh!” and everybody said YEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! And TOP said “HIGH HIGH” and audience again, jumped up and down like crazy! Also! During the say hahahahahaha say lalalalalala part omg, the lightsticks! Everyone knew the dance moves so the lightsticks were all in synch with GDTOP. So awesome to see~ The song ended and there was a slight pause which got people sitting down again.

So everyone blacked out except for the main big screen with a written message~ From PSY! It was really cute how he wrote a message explaining his position within the YG Family and in the Korean entertainment industry. The message said things like “I’ve worked as a singer in Korea for 11 years but have yet to release even one song in Japan”, “I’m very famous in Korea but I probably have the least amount of fans here”, “these 5 songs are probably my only big hit songs” and the message ended with “I want everyone here to give me ALL of their energy!” and everyone (and I mean everyone) screamed so much! He wrote “I want you all to stand up and scream the loudest you can” and everyone followed. We screamed and jumped and yelled and screeched! He had a 10 second countdown which had everyone out of their seats and screaming for PSY!

He started with Right Now and everyone was up and jumping. Even if they weren’t, PSY was like “JUMP NOWWWWW” which got everyone up and jumping to the music and singing the “right NOW!” part! He even had Japanese translations of his lyrics on the back screens which I thought was really thoughtful~ After Right Now, it was Entertainer and I think heaps of people knew the song cos the arena had even more energy than Right Now. If that’s even possible xD

Then he had a talk… which he read from a scroll that he pulled from the side of the stage making everyone laugh xD It was really cute, like Tablo, reading off something to interact with the audience. He said similar things to his video message: he’s a famous singer in Korea and he hopes everyone will enjoy his stages but because he likes his stages full of energy, he wants everyone to get up and jump with him. He also did an “energy test” of the arena. 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor and 4th floor! My gah, the screams were amazing. I should have recorded that too! ;_;

The next song was Shake It~ I swear every stage from PSY just requires immense amount of stamina and energy cos he just makes it so that everyone needs to get up and just JUMP. JUMP LIKE YOU’VE NEVER JUMPED BEFORE!!! And all his songs has Japanese translations on the screens so everyone was really feeling the song too After Shake It was It’s Art (I’m just translating titles to English now xD) and that was a really nice song in my opinion~ It wasn’t as intense so it let us rest for a short while.

He had another talk from another scroll that he pulled from some other side of the stage xD He said he had one more song and if we yelled out for an encore he’d come back with another song. Everyone cheered and the next song was Paradise! Omg it was so beautiful because he sang in both Korean and Japanese. The chorus was sung entirely in Japanese and the lyrics were on the screen, karaoke style so everyone was singing along. Then during the last chorus, he told everyone to sing along and SO BEAUTIFUL! ERRRBODY BE SINGING AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL

Then he disappeared from stage and crowd went nuts with the encore!! As expected, he came out and sang CHAMPION! Omg best song ever. Everyone was yelling CHAMPION so damn loud and the friends I went with shouted so much that the girls around us were giving us weird looks LOL But anyway, the song was so hyped up and near the end, he signalled the crowd to scream for him and boy, did the crowd scream. SO MUCH SCREAMING. PSY! THE BEST! Concert King indeed

The stage darkened and the main back screen had SE7EN with his debut look, with Come Back To Me playing in the background. It showed the success of the song and then we see someone with exactly the same look Baby-SE7EN had and yeppp, it was Seungri! So cute! Haha, the fans loved it and after he rolled around on the skates singing and dancing to SE7EN’s song, he finished with a little dance and trademark “7” handstand pose! Then the REAL SE7EN came out and blew everyone away with his flawless rollerskating and singing xD

SE7EN had a mini talk where he was saying that this was his debut song and it had been a while since he wore those shoes so it was embarrassing. He also said that since it was so embarrassing, he needs to change shoes and proceeded to sit down and change to more classy looking shoes xD He went on to talk about his new Japanese single, SOMEBODY ELSE. He said that thanks to everyone buying it, he got Number 8 on the Oricon charts which got people screaming. Then he went ahead to sing the song which got people up and jumping again~ After Somebody Else, he went on with Lalala~

Ok, I’m sorry to say but during this time, I had a very clear view of the platform thing below me and saw lots of staff standing around, getting people to clear out the section. I KNEW someone was going to come out and if they came out, I had a damn good view. I saw lots of security around and I just couldn’t pay attention to SE7EN anymore. I was honestly hoping and praying 2NE1 would come out and then HOLYF*CKINGSH*ZBALLZ! C TO THE L STRUTS ONTO THE PLATFORM IN ALL HER GLORIOUS GLORY AND I JUST ABOUT DIED LOL. I was so akjsdnaksdjnasdkjandkjasd at the time, I couldn’t think. Then I see Dara follow behind her but didn’t really focus on her since CL (is my bias and she) looked so BOSS walking onto that platform in that white IATB outfit and I just kajdnakjdnksjnda kajsdaksjd

THEN it occurred to me that I could just freaking scream her name and get her to turn around. AND THAT I DID! The people around me were somehow still oblivious to CL (and Dara)’s presence so I just screamed CHAERIN!!!!! And my friend yelled DARA!!!! And they both turned around and started waving to the crowd. I couldn’t tell if they were looking directly at us but I kind of cursed at myself for not bringing a plushie or something cos I could have totally thrown it to Chaerin ;_; Anyway, obviously after we shouted their names, people noticed they were there and omgahhh the amount of leaning people did over the railing, I was honestly worried for their safety LOL. I probably did the same though hahaha.

So SE7EN finished Lalala and 2NE1 start with I Don’t Care as the platforms start moving. DAMN BOM AND MINJI WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE SO I COULDN’T SEE. But I was thanking whatever God was out there for putting CL on my side LOL. Then I remembered I’d be here tomorrow, albeit higher up and probably not as good of a view but who cares, I’d see her tomorrow again on this side of the arena. ANYWAY, they rolled to this centre path where Chaera and Bomji switched platforms and everyone around me was freaking out cos we thought they’d come back to us but they just went forward towards the stage and we were like NOOOOOOO COME BACKKKKK!! Lmaooo

Next was 2NE1 with IATB and the fanchants for IATB were epiccccccc! The Japanese version kind of threw me off since I was so used to Korean but doesn’t matter! STILL EPIC!! And Chaezy had their English raps which they pulled off flawlessly!! And again, THE FANCHANTSSSS! THE FANCHANTS I TELLS YOU! CL JEIL JALLAGA! PARK BOM JEIL JALLAGA! DARA JEIL JALLAGA! MINJI JEIL JALLAGA! So goooooooood! Everyone knew how to do it! Blackjack, VIP, Lucky 7s, Gummy fans, Tablo fans, PSY fans, Jinusean fans, everyoneeeeee was chanting along~ Twas epic

Then they had their talk! I uploaded and translated that already so there’s not much else to say but OMG CHAEZY INTERACTION BEST EVERRRRRR! Bom’s fail Japanese is cute and Dara’s dorkiness is just as she is on TV. BUT STILL! CHAEZYYYYYYYYY! My maknae heart was like DAWWWWWWW!! When Minji was like “I wanna cry” after the cake surprise, Chae was just like “really?” and omggg just too cute! And when Chae exposed (not really, everyone kinda knows but you know lol) Minji’s desire to go clubbing soon, Minji full ran to her Chaerin unnie to kinda smack/tackle her LOL. Then Chaerin went to apologise and rubbed maknae’s arm and I was like DAWWWWWW! Ah and again, Chaerin’s Japanese is amazingly good. She doesn’t show nearly as much as she knows on TV programs or radio shows. She knows a LOT and her accent is best out of YG Family since she grew up there. Seriously, flawless Japanese!

Then UGLY played and Gummy made her appearance halfway! Chaerin was really good and pointed and shouted “Gummy!” when she sang the chorus~ I don’t know if it shows in the fancam I took (cos I can’t remember if it was Day 1 or 2) but she did do that on one of the days~ The song ended and then Gummy was left on stage alone for a talk. She was talking about her love for this Japanese song which she did a cover of! I can’t remember what it was called but EVERYONE in the arena knew it and I remember hearing it before but just couldn’t remember where it was from xD

Next was Gummy with We Should Have Been Friends and then it moved on to another mini talk. She said she liked this song since long ago and wanted to sing it but it didn’t suit her so she changed it up. She asked the audience whether or not we knew what song she was talking about and a few people from the crowd shouted out HEARTBREAKER! And it was really cute cos Gummy was just smiling since she knew the fans would have looked it up from previous concerts xD

Anyway, during Heartbreaker, I was totally expecting GD to pop out to rap his part like in previous concerts but he never came and it was just Gummy by herself the entire time. Not that I minded, I love Gummy unnie, she so pwettyyyy~ After Heartbreaker, she was off stage and then we see 5 figures sitting on stools and EVERYONE was up and screaming again. BIGBANG!!!!!! They did an acoustic version of the Japanese HaruHaru which had everyone totally immersed into the song. There wasn’t much screaming or yelling but everyone was just waving their lightsticks to the flow of the music. So beautiful ;-;

Next up was Lies and everyone was up and bouncing again! It was a remixed version but doesn’t matter, it was still epic with moving platform thingys on stage~ So good! Again, whenever TOP’s face was on the screen, I just screamed LOL So did the girls around me actually LOL We just all screamed together lmao xD Then it went to the talk… OMG TABI SO CUTE I DIED. He was speaking so much Japanese AND HE DID IT CUTELY! I think everyone’s brains just got instantly KO-ed. The SQUEALS were crazy and the guys I went with were just shaking their heads LOL He was like “KAERITAKUNAINAAAA~~~ (I don’t wanna go home)” so I was seriously like GO HOME WITH MEEEEE and everyone was just screaming and squealing and flailing in their seats xD And omg he just KEPT saying it in that really cute tone and I just about died with all the tens of thousands of fangirls around me. SO CUTE!!!!!! They talked about their upcoming new album to be released in March. When Seungri was finishing his talk, Taeyang went on his weird tangent and just started dancing in the middle of the stage gaining WTF looks from his fellow members and screams from the crowd LOL He was like SAITAMA SAITAMA SAITAMA TAMA and at first, I had no idea what the heck he was saying but laughed along anyway LOL. Anyway, they said the next song was the final so everyone screamed and squealed some more before Heaven started! Such a good song to “end” with! Everyone was jumping and singing along and the atmosphere was just great~

Then it was the encore! I didn’t know if we were shouting “encore” or not so stayed quiet for a bit. I heard chanting but couldn’t exactly tell what they were saying. My friend asked me what they were saying and I listened carefully to figure out they were saying “YG YG YG YG” and so we joined in with the chanting~

After a good 4 or so minutes of “YG YG YG YG YG YG YG”, the music for Last Farewell started playing and we knew it was 2NE1!!!! The thing is, Gummy was there too but I don’t think people at the back really noticed since Last Farewell just said “2NE1 ONE ONE! 2NE1 ONE ONE!” and there was no Gummy mentioned which was kinda awwww But anyway! It was amazing to see 2NE1 pull of a BIGBANG song so effortlessly~ Again, I must spazz… CHAERIN RAPPING GD’S PART WAS JUST HAWT. CHAERIN DOING ANYTHING IS JUST HAWT BUT YOU KNOW. RAPPINGGGGG! LIKE A BOSS! Lmao and at this time, I saw Chaerin’s encore outfit and was just stupefied LOL. She was wearing a modified version of the YG shirt, kinda ripped open the collar area and had it hanging off her shoulder which was wow, so sexyyy *clap clap clap* and then she had short shorts and patterned stockings which was, again, so sexyyyyy *clap clap clap* x)

After Last Farewell, the music for Poker Face started playing and I knew it was LADY PSY! LOL totally made everyone laugh and scream as he did his dance LMAO. Omg and he was slapping YG dancer’s butt during it which got people cheering LOL It was so funny though and so energetic, it was such an epic cover LOL and then Single Ladies played straight after and had people laughing some more XD there are no words to explain what you feel when you see PSY in Lady Gaga/Beyonce-esque clothes rolling around on the floor LOOLLLL

Then BIGBANG came out with IATB and thissssss had everyone screaming and squealing even more than before. And TOP’s part, omgggg, the fangirls (me included) just went absolutely nuts. Like omgahhh, CHOOMTOP AT HIS BEST RIGHT THERE. The girls were squealing and jumping and just spazzing all over the place LOL Daesung had heaps of screams too! Especially when he rolled on the floor during Minji’s rapping part xD They did the Korean version btw ^_^

Last song was TELL ME with all the YG Family members! This was most fun to see as everyone was soooooo happy and they had so much audience interaction. So envious of those right at the stage. I saw so many flying clothes and towels and honestly wanted to leap off the 3rd floor, run up to that stage and just catch something from YG Family members xD I can’t remember the encore of the first day as I did the second day but just know that everyone was giving lots of fan service!!

It ended with everyone bowing, saying their thankyous and goodbyes and leaving the stage. But of course, not before Seungri and Taeyang just took over the stage and just started their dancing and SAITAMA SAITAMA SAITAMA TAMA TAMA! And some other weird chant that I couldn’t make out LOL. Then TOPPPPPP comes back and is like KAERITAKUNAINAAAAAA and I just died for the 981239128312th time. The stage slowly closes with YG Family members still being heard saying byebye through their mics. Seungri ends by saying “it’s not really goodbye cos we’ll be seeing each other again” and then TOP does another KAERITAKUNAINAAAAAA and I just wanted to hunt him down and shove him in my suitcase and take him home. Stupid boy, if you don’t wanna go home, THEN DON’T GO HOMEEEEE LOLLOLL GOHOMEWITHMEDAMMIT

[END OF CONCERT]
AND THAT WAS IT FOR DAY ONE! Then we headed outside in the crazy rush to catch the last few trains and as we got near the station, we saw SO MANY STANDS with people selling unofficial goods. So like towels, keyholders, mirrors, posters, clear files, postcards, etc of the YG Family members. To be quite honest, it was mainly BIGBANG and 2NE1 so it was even MORE packed at the station making it extremely hard to even get to the gates of the station to get home. Quite annoying but there were so many pretty things, I can’t blame people for stopping and browsing. My friends and I did the same and bought a few little keychains and whatnot

Oh and you know how I had that 2NE1 tattoo on?? you have no idea how many weird stares I got that day on the trains LOL Getting from Saitama to a main station was fine because everyone had tattoos, their hair done, cosplay, whatever but after getting off at the station and taking a train to where I was staying… LOL so many weird stares and curious looks lmao

And my friends and I were all HUNGRYYYYY so we went to a convenience store to get food and yeppp, many weird stares. Doesn’t matter, 2NE1 represent! xD Also, a little side thing, when I got back to my hostel, I went to the bar (located on the ground floor of the hostel) to talk to the receptionists about the concert since they asked me to. And you know, at a bar, obviously random people are there to drink and socialise. They saw the tattoo and were like “OH! 2NE1??”

I lit up with happiness to see Japanese people knowing about 2NE1~ I asked them if they were fans and they said “not really, but we know them” and I asked them if they knew the members and most answered “the blonde one..?” LOL Chaerin xD But anyway, they said 2NE1 was a good break from the typical idols that we see around and I made good friends with those random people at the bar because of that LOL Just thought everyone’d like to know 2NE1 is well recognised in Japan~

Moving on~

DAY TWO!

So I’m not gonna really bother with Day 2 cos it was pretty much the same as Day 1 LOL. Except a few things that I shall write about. Firstly, Gummy sang a duet with a super famous Japanese producer named Komuro Tetsuya which had the entire audience screaming. He was super duper famous so it was no wonder why people squealed.

The next part is honestly the best part of my life LOL

CHAERIN WAVED AT ME, MY LIFE SO COMPLETE, I DIED. I CAN DIE HAPPILY NOW XD

You know how I went on Saturday and totally knew she’d appear near the end of SE7EN’s Lalal? Yeah, I was anticipating that very moment, hoping that I could rush down to Row 1 (I was on Row 3) and wouldn’t be asked by guards and other fans to move back to my seat. Anyway, as it neared the end of Lalala, I rushed down the stairs and people in Row 1 gave me dirty looks and some VIP lady asked me to move back afterwards. I honestly did not give a f*ck at the time LOL screw rules, my Chaerin would be appearing at any moment! Anyway, this day I was on the 4th floor so I was further up but I knew that once the platform passed my area, she’d see this area more clearly than the one I was at on Saturday. So anyway, after the lady told me to go back, I pointed to Chaerin who had just walked onto the platform and said “they’re starting from there” and she turned and was screaming in her own little world. I kinda rolled my eyes but anywayssss LOL I got my CL lightsticks ready (yes, I knew I’d be seeing CL close-ish so I brought CL lightsticks so she’d notice ) and as she passed, I waved and screamed out “CHAERIN UNNIEEEE!” xD She looked up and saw my lighsticks and waved at me and I just died LOL. The lady who told me to move back looked at me (and my lightsticks) and her face showed much disapproval LOL like I care, CHAERIN WAVED AT ME, BIOTCH LOL

But after she moved away, I DID return to my seat. The only reason why I rushed down was for Chaerin ok lady?? Sheesh LOL. Also, during their talk after IDC and IATB, they mentioned they had a party to celebrate Minji’s birthday with the fans yesterday. They talked about similar things, Chaerin talking about Minji’s thing and apologising again. However! At the end, when she mentions that UGLY is 2NE1’s last song and moves back to get into formation for Ugly, the audience was like EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH louder than yesterday so Chaerin stopped what she was doing and stepped forward again saying “what? Should 2NE1 just keep going on forever?” and everyone screamed YESSSSSSSS!!! And she laughed at us saying she couldn’t do that xD They eventually moved on with Ugly x)

Also, before Heaven during BIGBANG’s talk, TOP did his KAERITAKUNAINAAAA thing again but only once this time. Instead, he just went on a full Japanese speech which shocked the hell out of the audience and his fellow members. Like WHOAAAA! I was like AOAKSDJNASKDJNADOMGOMGOMG SPEAK AGAIN CHOI SEUNGHYUN SPEAK AGAINNNNN! LOL anyway, GD spoke a lot of Japanese on this day too and they mentioned how it was the last YG Family Concert so they were sad. BUT of course, Taeyang comes centre stage and dances to his SAITAMA SAITAMA TAMA TAMA TAMA LOL.

Oh! And during Last Farewell, you know it goes “2NE1 ONE ONE! 2NE1 ONE ONE!” This time CL yelled out “GUMMY!” Like “2NE1 ONE ONE! 2NE1 ONE ONE GUMMYYYYYY!!!!!” and pointed to her which I thought was really sweet x)

THE ENCORE ON THIS DAY THOUGH! LOL. 2NE1 and Gummy were the first to appear in the spotlight, they were sitting down right at the front of the stage with their legs straight in front of them and singing to Tell Me which was just adorable. Then the boys came out and everyone was singing and having an amazing time together again. Much fanservice was given and I recall Chaera doing their own little cute dance routine on the right side of the stage while Bomji were just running around the front of the stage like little kids xD Oh and the amount of shirts, towels, water, whatever things that YG Family members threw to the audience today… I was so jelly. So so so jelly LOL. There was this point where Chaerin threw her towel and I was like AKIJNDAKIJDNASKDJANDKAJSNDKJ WHYYYY CAN’T I FLYYYYYYYY?!!

Oh and right before the song ended, SE7EN and TOP threw their towels to the audience and had everyone literally screamiiiiiiiing for it LOL. So they said their goodbyes and right before they left the stage, Seungri was like “WAIT! WE NEED TO TAKE A COMMEMORATIVE PHOTO!” and brought everyone back. They took 3 photos and told everyone to check YG’s blog for them. Also, SE7EN and TOP had this Choi Brothers moment where they were weirdly dancing down the centre aisle of the stage LOL I lost count of how many items Taeyang threw to the audience LOL and at some point during BB’s performance of IATB (I think), he just jumped off stage and ran to the audience LOL Oh and and! The end was again with Taeyang and Seungri doing the SAITAMA SAITAMA TAMA TAMA thing and with Seungri saying it wasn’t goodbye

WHAT AN AMAZING CONCERT

Whenever, wherever the next YG Family Concert is, I’ll definitely TRY to go. No matter where you’re seated, even if you’re miles away, you get such an amazing show that it doesn’t matter. The crowd honestly become one and it’s just amazing to see all fandoms come together and sing along to ALL the songs!

The cost of the tickets for both days was about 25400yen which is like $300.. $300! TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS. The $300 + the $500 spent at the merchandise booth…. SO WORTH IT! SERIOUSLY NO REGRETSSSSSS!!!

BIGSHOW, NOLZA, YG FAMILY, WHATEVER CONCERT THAT HAS A YG FAMILY MEMBER… JUST GO TO IT!!!! NO REGRETS! JUST GO! AND SPEND MONEY ON THEIR MERCH! JUST DO ITTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!
